Ryanair and i6 Partner to Digitize Fuel Operations Across Europe

Europe’s largest airline selects i6 Group to digitize refueling, improve sustainability, and improve turnaround efficiency.

Ryanair, Europe’s largest airline, has selected i6 Group, a global leader in integrated aviation fuel management technology, to digitize fueling across its European network, which spans 37 countries.

i6’s real-time platform connects flight crews, fueling teams and operations control, replacing legacy paper processes with automated workflows and live data exchange. This integration makes fueling faster and more precise, providing Ryanair with better visibility across its network and helping protect on-time performance.

Ryanair’s partnership with i6 supports the airline’s Pathway to Net Zero strategy, which targets net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 and a significant reduction in carbon intensity per passenger flown.

‍A smarter approach to fuel uplift

By using i6’s technology, Ryanair can achieve more accurate fuel uplifts, reducing unnecessary overfueling that adds weight to aircraft. Lighter departures mean lower fuel burn, supporting both cost efficiency and emissions reduction.
