i6 Group, a leading provider of global fuel management technology for airlines and fuel service providers, is pleased to announce a funding package from Virgin Money, a prominent financial institution within the Virgin Group.

The funding package was facilitated by Fuse Capital, who specialise in supporting the growth of tech SMEs that are at the forefront of Greentech and Sustainability-oriented solutions.

i6 Group's fuel management technology digitises the entire airport fuel supply chain, driving operational efficiencies, transparency, and sustainability across the aviation industry. i6 is the digital platform of choice for many high-profile customers, including Exxon Mobil, Chevron, World Kinect, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Menzies Aviation.

This funding will enable i6 Group to accelerate its growth trajectory and bolster its global leadership and management teams. i6 recently announced a landmark deal with Shell Aviation, which will see the rollout of i6’s efficiency-focused technology at over 70 Shell Aviation sites globally. In addition to the over 170 airports currently using i6 technology, this agreement with Shell Aviation will see this expanded to around 250 global airport operations.
